STEP 1 2620 Feeder
The InfoSeal 2612 Midrange Folder Sealer comes equipped with
one of two types of sheet feeders depending on the type of
InfoSeal construction being processed. If using the 2620 Power
Feeder refer to the 2620 power feeder Operator Manual for
installation.
|
|

STEP 1A 2613 Feeder
Make the following adjustments for proper paper thickness.
Turn the knob located at the upper end of the sheet feeder,
to allow 1/16" clearance from the side guides to the
edge of a single form. Press in and turn the blue hand knob
(E) to feed the sheet under the roller. Next, turn the feeder
adjustment knob located under the feed deck until a slight
drag is felt as you manually lift the sheet from under the
roller.
|

STEP 2 Left Buckle Chute
The left buckle chute lifts up and out to easily adjust fold
settings. Set the left buckle chute by adjusting the height
of each buckle stop. The stops should be set to the same mark
on each side, so the folds will be straight and parallel.
Adjust buckle chute according to the settings decal on right
buckle chute.
|
|

STEP 3 Right Buckle Chute
Adjust both stops to the same mark for the form to fold evenly.
Adjust the buckle chutes according to the settings decal on
the right buckle chute.
|

STEP 4 V-Fold Setup Only
To make V folds, remove the left buckle chute and lift straight
up and out. Turn it upside down as shown above and replace
by guiding it onto the two mounting studs on each side frame.
|
|

STEP 5 Water Tank
Press down on flange, lift and remove output stacker as shown.
Remove the rubber cap and fill the tank until the water level
is 1" below the fill port. Be sure to reinstall the rubber
cap after filling the water tank.
|

STEP 6 Adjustable Stacker Wheels
The stacker wheels must be adjusted according to the length
of the form. Proper shingling requires the wheels to be positioned
further out toward the exit end of the folder when running
longer forms. Shorter forms must shingle under the wheels
sooner which requires the wheels to be positioned closer to
the buckle chutes.

Clearing Paper Jams 1
It is helpful to remove the left buckle chute when clearing
jams. The manual hand wheel will allow you to remove paper
jams by using the knob to turn the rollers. This is mainly
used for the hard to reach paper jams in the rollers.
|

Clearing Paper Jams 2
Loosen the thumbscrew in the middle of the backside of the
right buckle chute and slide up. Pull up the wick catch tray
as shown above and then remove the paper jam. Remember to
restore to original settings before resuming operation.
