while maximizing the utility of the document.
Introduction
InfoSealPS forms are available in three types of packaging.
They are:
- Cut Sheet
- Continuous
- Roll Feed
Cut Sheet Packaging
The standard number of cut sheet forms per carton is 1,000.
Forms are packed in a poly bag glue side up and are placed
inside a corrugated carton as follows:
- Bottom corrugate
- First 250 forms
- Corrugate
- Second 250 forms (rotated 180 degrees)
- Corrugate
- Third 250 forms (rotated 180 degrees)
- Corrugate
- Fourth 250 forms (rotated 180 degrees)
- Corrugate
Note: The order writer must indicate the sequence (if numbered)
and orientation of cut sheet forms depending on the client's
needs.
For example, checks printing on a Xerox 9790 MICR laser are
fed into the printer adhesive side down. On an HP III the
forms are fed into the printer adhesive side up. When forms
are consecutively numbered the sequence and orientation are
both important considerations.
Continuous Packaging
Continuous forms are packed in a polyester bag inside the carton
with cardboard wedges to insure flat compressed packs.
One-Part InfoSealPS forms come standard 1,500 forms to a carton.
Two-Part InfoSealPS forms come standard 1,200 forms to a carton.
Roll Feed Packaging
InfoSealPS roll feed forms are packed on skids with the rolls
standing up. The roll diameter ranges from 32" to 40"
(manufacturers choice). The rolls are plugged.
Individual rolls are polyester wrapped with the quantity
of forms marked on each roll. Rolls are secured by banding
them together and with corrugated wedges.
Manufacturing Notes
Securely fasten rolls to the skid to avoid shifting during transit.
With regards to splicing and breaks:
- All breaks will be spliced unless otherwise noted.
- Splicing and breaks for laser jobs will be accomplished
with blue, laser-safe perforated tape.
- Rolls will be delivered with runable spliced and marked.
- Splicing and breaks for non-laser jobs will be accomplished
with standard 3M perforated tape
- Splices will be made on the side opposite the adhesive
application; only 2 break carton per layer on skid.
